Sexual Health
Sexual wellness is a tough subject that usually wasn’t taught to most people in this country well. And especially in a way that didn’t include shame, judgement, and disinformation. As a licensed therapist, I am pursuing AASECT certification to become a certified sex therapist which includes training, supervision, and continuing education. I follow the AASECT mission and values and treat issues in a holistic, trauma-informed, intersectional lens.
Sexual health covers a wide spectrum of subjects so feel free to reach out with any questions. -

Trauma Recovery
As a therapist I define trauma as anything that has gone above our ability to cope at any given time. People can go through similar situations with similar dynamics and be affected in different ways. Defining trauma is dependent on the individual and recovery can look different for each client. My goal in trauma recovery is to be a safe, supportive space for clients seeking treatment and figuring out with the client what treatments will be most effective to heal.

Addiction Recovery
Addiction recovery is not a one-size-fits-all scenario. I hold a CADC I in Oregon and professional training in helping others recover from use/abuse. Addiction recovery involves processing motivations behind use, situations that might push people to use, and ways to place barriers between urges and actual use from a harm reduction lens.

Parenting
Life transitions are difficult in the best of times and when you add a whole new person in the mix it can become overwhelming. I attempt to provide a safe, supportive environment for parents who may be dealing with stressors and mental health while navigating parenthood.
